Monster data is coming in via Hades Workshop. It's not the best tool ever for getting clean-cut data do we're stuck with a little manual massaging. Here are some things to look out for from stream of consciousness as I try to remember what they are.
- Some monsters seem to have different stats when they show up in different formations. These need to be reconciled.
- First, is it actually possible that some monsters have different stats in different scenarios? Doesn't seem likely.
- Which monster is the right one?
- Check other sources
- Check metadata for the monster - monsters that have clearly glitched stealdrop or card drop, for instance, probably aren't the right ones.
- Crossreference the model ID - if the model doesn't look finished or is for a different monster, it's probably wrong.
- Some monsters may appear on different discs.
- We should get the discs together in one place to verify that we're not going to run into issues of uploading monsters more than once. Can also avoid this with a unique key on enemy name and model ID, probably, if not enemy name/model ID/Level or something else for the third piece of the key. Probably better since only disc 1 and 2 are done so far.
- How can we generate formation data from what we know in Hades? Is it possible? Formations and other source at http://www.gamefaqs.com/ps/197338-final-fantasy-ix/faqs/20490
